Well then he must have mixed up nod and portal, because the sentance says clearly at the end of nod not portal XD

but enough of that

There is youtube in the land of nod Smile

Theres C++ but no C langeuage in the land of Nod.

Btw im trying to make program what could check what is and what aint in land of Nod. So it would be easier for those who dont know rule to test it out. I hope I will be sucessful.

b=[w,o,r,d] - A matrix with each letter of the word.

for m=1:length(b) - repeats the for-end loop from 1 to the last letter of the word.
for n=1:length(b); - repeats the for-end loop from 1 to the last letter of the word.
c=find(b(m)=b(n)) - creates a new matrix (c), where 1's are letters that are the repeated, and 0's are letters that are single.
end
end

This part of the code won't work properly unless i make a few changes, but this is just to give you the idea.
if c==0 - if the c matrix has only 0's a box will appear saying that it is NOT in the land of nod.
disp('Word not in the Land of Nod')
elseif c==1 - if the c matrix has any 1's a box will appear saying that it IS in the land of nod.
disp('Word is in the land of Nod')
end

That's more or less how I would code it in Matlab xD I don't know how to use C that well...

IF I get this correctly, then it depends on the length of the words if it is in the land of nod or not?

Erm, you're misreading the code xD
It's finding letters that are the same, c will equal 0 if it cannot find any matching letters ^^ I think I just gave away a HUGE hint Razz

Matlab, what kind of programming langeuage is that?

Theres Pascal, but no Basic.

EDIT: Ahh wtf, this Matlab seems to have so weard logic. Atleast i didnt understood allmost anything. But is this program ment mostly for mathematical use or you can do other kind of program there too?

That makes no sense,
since this should be wrong then:

Let's see, Dodo's has 2 d's and 2 o's and 1 s, candy has 1 c, 1 a, 1 n, 1 d, and 1 y...

And Vish, Matlab is a mathematical programming language, used mostly in engineering and sciences usually for data processing and mathematical simulations. And it has very handy graphing tools. You can theoretically make other programs with it, but I have yet to figure out how.
I used a program made with it once, from a previous university student, which was for data inversion to create a geological model from geophysical data, which is very maths intensive using advanced calculus algorithms Razz

P.S. I edited the previous post giving a bit of a rundown how the code works.

Ye well, everyone has his own life, and since none really posts anything on the forum, then it kinda gets quited.

Just post some things, ask things even though they have nothing to do with halo.

Just wondering, but maybe we should go as a clan to a different game, (preferable with a map editor :p), since Halo 2 is just dying out by the hour!

It is, but the point is, we have had many games go through that idea, but none seem to fit. I would just like the halo ┼żanr to come to PC (the rest of it) so we could move there.

Well it is always good idea to expand, but there are many problems with it. First theres ALWAYS someone whos against it and dont want to come. Second, its hard to make people to buy same game. but we can always try.

If you want good editor and cheap game, then i suggest we should expand to Warcraft III. That game has one of the best editor in the world. Yes its a strategy game, but why we should play strategy games? Only problem is that multiplayer had medium amount of people. But if we can expand to this and we find someone who can host then its no problem, cause we can play only clan games too. Aslo multiplayer has and clan channel system, so we can make clan inside the game also.

Any comments. Please constructive not whining one Wink

ACTUALLY, Starcraft II has the best Blizzard Editor, but Wc3 comes close, but also lacks graphics of today's game.
(Ps, what is your account name on Wc3?)
But there are other games, obviously, maybe we should make a new topic and then everyone can type the games they already have, and a game(s) that could be our next expansion.

Yes i know Starcraft II has better, but i ment those what are cheap cause i cant afford atm to buy and so expensive game as Starcraft II. Thats why i suggested Warcraft III. If we want to go on a new game then we need to find game what has reasonable price, cause all cant afford paying so much money.

Well guys, I'm back from the Primitive ZONE!!! Razz

Going to a new game hey... well I personally don't like MMO's such as warcraft or whatever, they require too much thinking xD
But I think going into one as a clan can be fun, since we'll be together ^^

I'm going to buy CoD Black Ops for PC if others are willing to do the same or if they have the game already Wink

And I see we've done the classic UF Clan tradition of changing topics in a topic Razz
